Policies
- The plan price you sign up on is the plan price you keep. We do not use promotional rates that expire into higher rates, and we do not raise the price of your plan for as long as you keep it.
- There is no installation fee, no contract, and no cancellation fee on our standard plans.
- The plan price includes taxes and fees: the price we advertise is the price on your invoice.
- In buildings where we install a router or modem inside your unit, a refundable $50 equipment deposit applies at activation for Brooklyn Fiber equipment only. You can use your own router: where we install our equipment we bridge it so yours gets the public IP, and in most large apartment buildings you may skip our equipment and the deposit. The building page says which applies.
- You may cancel at any time. There is no cancellation fee on standard plans. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Return any equipment we installed to receive your deposit back.
- Service can be paused for 1 to 3 months, with no pause fee and no reactivation fee. We bill monthly in advance, so service runs through the period already paid and pauses on the next billing date; it comes back on the resume date and the new billing cycle starts that day. A team member confirms the dates.
